2.jpgTo standardize the law of sales and other businesses among 50 states located within the United States, numerous uniform acts were disseminated. One of these uniform acts is the United Commercial Code (UCC) or the Code. The purpose of these acts is very vital so as there will be harmony in the increasing commercial transactions extending from one state to the other. Basically, the Code covers transactions that involve personal and not the real properties. Meaning, the goods could be manufactured in one state, stocked in another, then sold to another more state. To avoid conflicts among states, the rules of the Code will be followed.
