The law practice has been a very attractive one. In the early 60s, a big number of students have become attracted to the study and practice of law, such that the number of lawyers in the US increased by 33% between 1960 and 1970. Compare this with a growth of just 10% in the decade before that. Responsible for this increase in the number of lawyers are the social legislations and expanding scope of government regulations and judicial rulings.
