Start a Business in the U.S.

When a foreigner wants to start or venture to any kind of business in the United States, there is a type of immigration visa which is called The Immigrant Visa in the Fifth Employment Based Preference Category (for the immigrant investors). It is also known as EB-5. Aside from this requirement, the Foreign National or the investor must have a two year conditional residence. The money to be used for the investment must be from legal means and should at least amount to U.S. $1 M up to 3M. $ 500,000 should be allotted to Rural or high unemployment areas. Among other things, the business venture should be for the purpose also of creating or providing certain number of jobs.
